Our CPR class is all inclusive, teaching you the proper way to administer this life saving technique, while our Med Assist (short for Medication Assistance Training) can help someone with no medical background learn how to assist with self-administered medications of a loved one or resident. CPR & Med Assist Training Note: If you are offered FREE CPR/AED with your course, you must attend all classes and be in good standing in order to receive the FREE CPR/AED training. Failure to attend classes, not being on time or being terminated disqualifies you from the program and any further "Free" Offerings at the any location. The online course is only for students who pay for the program and not with any FREE offers, these are done at the training centers. CPR/AED and First Aid is offered online and you can take it from the comfort of your own home. When you complete the course online you will be required to call and set up a hands on session. This session can take up to 30 minutes to demonstrate your skills for the CPR and AED you have learned online.You will then receive a certification card valid for 2 years CPR/AED and First Aid (Available in St.Petersburg only )
CPR
We offer ASHI CPR/AED & First Aid Training.
You can take the CPR/ AED and First Aid from the comfort of your home! To enroll in an online course, please click on the Schedules link at the far right top of this page. There you may enroll for the course. When the online portion of the course is completed you will come to our St.Petersburg location and perform your "Hands on session" with an instructor and test to become certified. You will receive your certification card the SAME DAY!
Medication Assistance Training "Med Assist"
This course instruction provides "assistance with the self-administration of medication" by an unlicensed person. This course can also be taken by a family member or caregiver wanting to assist with medication. This course is taught by an (RN) Registered Nurse.
Course Fee: $60.00 per person (non-student)
Includes all class fees and materials. Certificate of Attendance (4) hour will be awarded at end of class. Monthly Med Tech classes are available and you can enroll from the SCHEDULES page.
